Amazon Prime Video, a traditional television channel

Amazon Prime Video, a traditional television channel that was discontinued in 2021, was primarily an online video streaming service. Amazon, however, has introduced Prime Video Channels in some areas, enabling Prime Video members to add more channels to their subscription for an additional cost. Similar to conventional cable or satellite TV channels, these channels offer live TV and on-demand programmed.

For instance, Prime Video Channels in the US provides access to well-known channels like HBO, Showtime, Starz, and CBS All Access, among others. These channels are available for monthly subscription from customers, and for convenient access, the material is incorporated into the Prime Video website and app.
