The Final Dual Films

A historical drama movie called "The Last Duel" will be released in 2021. The screenplay was written by Nicole Holofcener, Ben Affleck, and Matt Damon, and it is directed by Ridley Scott. The novel "The Last Duel: A True Story of Crime, Scandal, and Trial by Combat in Mediaeval France" by Eric Jager served as the inspiration for the movie.

"The Last Duel" is a historical drama that takes place in France in the fourteenth century and is based on the actual events of the final duel to receive legal approval. The story revolves around the lives of Marguerite de Carrouges (Jodie Comer), Jacques Le Gris (Adam Driver), and Jean de Carrouges (Matt Damon). Friends who have grown into fierce adversaries, Jean and Jacques must settle their conflict through a trial by combat.

Honour, justice, and the place of women in mediaeval society are some of the topics covered in the movie. Critics gave it mostly favourable reviews for its plot, direction, and acting. Please be aware, though, that my information is based on what is known as of September 2021, and there may have been changes or additional details regarding the movie since then.

Dead Men Tell No Tales: Pirates of the Caribbean (2017) The first four films in the franchise have made over $4.5 billion in total worldwide box office.
